Since 1996, we here at Cabin Creek have designed, cut, built and shipped some of the highest quality timber framing craftsmanship to come out of North Carolina. Our intricate work of timber frame designs are created utilizing state of the art CAD software. Then our artificer framers with the utmost detail of the eye select the type of timber and handcraft each piece. The timber framers are highly skilled craftsmen and very particular about the quality of timbers selected, cutting of the frames and joints, to the end product. We are licensed to grade all heavy timbers and we do so in house. Should your state require, we will submit all original plans to the structural engineer for approval prior to starting to build. A member of our staff will consult and keep in touch with you during the entire process from the initial design, the cutting and assembling of the timber into what will be a beautiful home. For clients where we will have to ship the timber frames, all of them are cleaned, sanded, and stickered to allow air circulation.
