Many people are fascinated with studying or thinking about the end of times. The Bible tells us not only about Jesus and many other prophets, but how the world will come to an end one day. The study of the end of times is a very large topic. Still, there are verses that extensively talk about end or time. Here is some of the end time Bible verses.
Matthew 24:29-31:29
This verse talks about the end of times in a sensational manner, stating that the sun will darken and the moon will not give light. This will throw a total darkness over the earth. The stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will fall out of position. The Son of Man will appear from the sky and all the nations will mourn. The verse states that the Son of Man will send His angels to gather His elect from all corners of the world.
Matthew 24:36-37:36
In this verse, Jesus says that no one knows the hour or day of the coming of the Son of Man, not even the Angels in Heaven. Only God, the Father. Just like in the days of Noah, the coming of the Son of Man will remain a secret.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-9:1
Here, apostle Paul talks about the end of times, saying that it will be a surprise, equating it a thief in the night. He says that destruction will suddenly ascend on people, just like labor pain on women, and they will not be able to escape. The chapter encourages people to be alert and ready for the end of times.
Matthew 24:23-25:23
The verse warns people about false prophets and false idols who will appear and perform great miracles and signs in the name of Christ, deceiving people that they are the Christ.
Matthew 24:21-22:21
This verse says that at the end of times, there will be great distress like never seen in the world before – and never to be seen again. The verse sensationally states that if those days are not cut short, then no one will be saved. However, for the sake of the elect, the verse says that those days will be shortened.
Luke 21:23-24:23
This verse paints a dreadful picture of how it will be for pregnant women and nursing mothers during the end of times. It states that there will be great distress in the world and wrath against pregnant women. They will be killed by the sword and taken as prisoners.
